The Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies, known until 2021 as the ASU Center for Meteorite Studies, was founded in 1960 on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University and holds the world's largest university-based meteorite collection, with specimens from more than 1,600 separate meteorite falls and finds. The collection is used internationally for research in planetary science, geology and space science, and the centre operates a meteorite museum open to the public. It was renamed in 2021 in honour of Professor Peter R. Buseck.
