Jerome State Historic Park

Jerome State Historic Park is an Arizona state park in Jerome, a mining town on the north-eastern flank of the Black Hills in Yavapai County. It preserves the Douglas Mansion, built in 1916 by a family of mining entrepreneurs, which now houses a museum. The park closed on 27 February 2009 because of budget cuts and the need to repair the mansion, and reopened on 14 October 2010 after renovation and stabilisation funded by a state heritage grant and by donations from the Douglas family. It opens seven days a week, supported by further funding raised by Yavapai County, the town of Jerome and the Jerome Historical Society. It recorded 46,247 visits in 2024.
