Tucson Botanical Gardens is a 5.5-acre (2.2 ha) collection of twenty gardens in the heart of Tucson, Arizona, occupying the former home of Bernice and Rutger Porter; the earliest buildings on the property date to the 1920s and were built of adobe brick made on site. Its gardens, including the Cactus and Succulent Garden, the Barrio Garden, the Children's Garden and the Herb Garden, show the range of plants able to thrive in the Sonoran Desert, and the Cox Butterfly and Orchid Pavilion displays tropical butterflies from around the world between October and May. The gardens also host rotating art displays, community classes and international exhibits, and were ranked fourth in USA Today's 2025 10Best Readers' Choice award for best botanical garden.
