Catalina State Park

Catalina State Park lies at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson, at an elevation of nearly 3,000 feet. Its 5,500 acres of foothills and canyons hold nearly 5,000 saguaros alongside other desert plants and support more than 150 species. The park offers camping, hiking and birdwatching across miles of trail. It recorded 281,405 visits in 2024.
