Mount Lemmon Ski Valley is a ski area on the slopes of Mount Lemmon in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson, and the southernmost ski destination in the continental United States. It lies within the Coronado National Forest near the village of Summerhaven and is reached by the Catalina Highway. The summit stands at 9,157 feet and receives about 180 inches of snow a year. Winter storms are frequent and the season usually runs from mid-December to April, with temperatures between 20 and 50 °F. The runs are not groomed.
