The road through it approaches from the east as West Anklam Road, which merges with West Speedway Boulevard just east of North Camino De Oeste; west of the pass the road is known as Saguaro Road and continues to Kinney Road, just north of Old Tucson. Overlooks line the road, which is used as a place to watch the sunset.
