The Hermit Trail is a hiking trail in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, descending steeply and with only marginal maintenance from the South Rim to the Colorado River. It passes fossilised reptile tracks and camps abandoned since the early 1900s, and offers a more challenging route to the river than the park's maintained corridor trails, used mainly by experienced canyon hikers. The trailhead lies just beyond Hermit's Rest and is reached by shuttle bus; shade is scarce along the route in summer.
