Chevelon Creek Bridge is a historic road bridge located about 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Winslow, in Navajo County, eastern Arizona, United States. It is a steel Warren Pony truss bridge over Chevelon Creek, built on the first permanent road connecting Holbrook, the seat of Navajo County, and Winslow. When built, the road was regionally important in northern Arizona as well as being a segment of an early national highway at the time automobile traffic was growing and national roads were first being formed.

The Morelos Dam was built in 1950 across the Colorado River following a 1944 treaty between the United States and Mexico. The Casa Grande Photogrammetric Test Range is a test range established in the mid-1960s to test the dynamic performance of aerial survey cameras. The range consisted of 272 concrete calibration markers embedded into the Earth's surface in and around Casa Grande, Arizona, United States. The markers are commonly (and erroneously) believed to have been used to aid camera calibration for the US Central Intelligence Agency's Corona spy satellite program; in fact, they were used as references for aerial surveys through photogrammetry.

The only McDonald's in the world with turquoise arches rather than yellow ones. Sedona's building rules require development to sit quietly against the red rock, so when the restaurant opened in April 1993 the city refused the standard yellow and the franchise built it in turquoise instead. Tour buses stop here and people climb the arches to be photographed under them.
The Chiricahua Mountains in particular are excellent for bird watching as well as wildlife viewing, with a number of very rare avian species sighted here. This facility is operated by the American Museum of Natural History, and offers bird watching tours, and accommodation for naturalists and hikers.
