The only McDonald's in the world with turquoise arches rather than yellow ones. Sedona's building rules require development to sit quietly against the red rock, so when the restaurant opened in April 1993 the city refused the standard yellow and the franchise built it in turquoise instead. Tour buses stop here and people climb the arches to be photographed under them.

The Devil's Kitchen Sinkhole is a sinkhole near Sedona, Arizona on the Soldier Pass Trail in the Coconino National Forest. Formed in the late 1880s, it is one of the at least seven sinkholes surrounding the city. The sinkhole is about 660 ft (200 m) deep but leads to a cave that adds 180 ft (55 m), for a total of 840 ft (260 m).
The Seven Sacred Pools are a group of small pools (tinajas) on the Coconino National Forest's Soldier Pass Trail, near Sedona, Arizona. They are easily accessible from the trail but are only available to be seen during certain times of the year, as the stream that feeds them is seasonal. The pools are carved into sandstone naturally.
A Coconino National Forest day-use area on Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing, where the water reflects Cathedral Rock — a view the Forest Service describes as one of the most photographed scenes in the Southwest. Paved paths run through picnic grounds to shallow water people wade and fish in, and a day-use fee applies. The site was a working cattle ranch; its buildings and waterwheel remain, and the ranch house is rented out by the Forest Service.
Follow an easy 2-mile hike to Chicken Point. Well-marked trail (follow the cairns). Beautiful views. Do early in the morning before Pink Jeeps - which start around 8AM. Can also see Submarine Rock from trail. This route is popular for mountain biking.
The largest natural sandstone arch in the area. The trail is short and moderately difficult, with outstanding views at the top. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
