Charleston is a ghost town in Cochise County, in the south-eastern part of Arizona. It was occupied from the late 1870s through the late 1880s, in what was then the Arizona Territory. It stood on the west bank of the San Pedro River, and its economy rested on the milling of silver ore mined at nearby Tombstone, carried out in the community of Millville directly across the river.
