The Kaibab Trail Suspension Bridge, also known as the Black Suspension Bridge, spans the Colorado River in the inner canyon of Grand Canyon National Park. Its span is 440 feet. The bridge carries the South Kaibab Trail and is the river crossing used by mules going to Phantom Ranch. It and the Silver Bridge, about 2,300 feet downstream, are the only spans across the river for hundreds of miles.
