State Farm Stadium is a retractable-roof stadium in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb west of Phoenix. It opened in 2006 as the home of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, replacing Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, and stands beside Desert Diamond Arena. It has hosted the Fiesta Bowl since January 2007, two BCS National Championship games in 2007 and 2011, the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2016, three Super Bowls in 2008, 2015 and 2023, and the Pro Bowl in 2015. It has also staged the NCAA men's Final Four in 2017 and 2024, matches in the 2015 and 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cups, the Copa América Centenario in 2016 and the Copa América in 2024. The stadium opened as Cardinals Stadium, was renamed University of Phoenix Stadium in September 2006 and took its present name in September 2018 under an eighteen-year agreement with the insurer State Farm.
