Sycamore Canyon is the second largest canyon in the Arizona redrock country, after Oak Creek Canyon. The 21-mile (34 km) long scenic canyon reaches a maximum width of about 7 miles (11 km). It is in North Central Arizona bordering and below the Mogollon Rim, and is located west and northwest of Sedona in Yavapai and Coconino counties.
Visitors to the South Rim can go to the National Geographic IMAX theatre to see half hour presentation of Grand Canyon, the Hidden Secrets. Showtimes are every hour on the half hour.
About this list
Attractions are associated with the nearest recognisable destination rather than by municipal boundary, so a place just outside Tusayan still appears here if that is how visitors reach it. None of these publish an official visitor count, so they are ranked on public interest and tourism significance. Each page says so.
