The Granite Dells is a geological feature north of Prescott, Arizona, consisting of exposed bedrock and large granite boulders eroded into a lumpy, rippled form. Watson Lake and Willow Lake, two small man-made reservoirs, lie within the formation. The Peavine National Recreation Trail follows the former railbed of the Santa Fe, Prescott and Phoenix Railway through the Dells; the winding section took the name Peavine because its twisting curves resembled a pea vine. It connects to the Iron King Trail, which follows the route of the old Prescott & Eastern Railroad through the eastern Dells. Both are rail trail conversions.
