The Prescott National Forest is a 1.25 million-acre United States National Forest in north-central Arizona, in the vicinity of Prescott. It lies in the mountains south-west of Flagstaff and north of Phoenix, mostly in Yavapai County, with about 3.5 per cent extending into south-western Coconino County. The Forest Service divides it into three administrative districts: the Chino Valley Ranger District in the north, the Bradshaw Ranger District in the south-west and the Verde Ranger District in the south-east. Central administrative offices are in Prescott, with local ranger district offices in Camp Verde, Chino Valley and Prescott.
