The largest dry cavern in the United States. The Regular Tour is a 45-minute, 3/4 mile (1 km) walking tour. A 25 minute Short Tour is available. The Explorers Tour is an off-trail caving tour of groups of 2-6 persons. The caverns are a constant 56ºF (13ºC) even during the heat of summer so a sweater or jacket is recommended.
Hackberry is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. It is located on State Route 66 (former U.S. Route 66), 28 miles (45 km) northeast of Kingman.
Owner Angel Delgadillo was instrumental in preserving this last stretch of the route. His description of how the town died the hour and day the new road opened was the primary basis for a key flashback in which "Sally" the Porsche describes the history of Radiator Springs in which "the town was bypassed to save ten minutes of driving".
This overlook is on the border between Grand Canyon–Parashant National Monument and the Grand Canyon National Park, with some rather impressive views of the Grand Canyon – but without all the crowds. Many choose to camp in the nearby areas to get some good views of the sunrise and sunset.
Delgadillo's Snow Cap Drive-In is a historic eatery and roadside attraction located along Route 66 in Seligman, Arizona USA. The drive-in was built in 1953 by local resident Juan Delgadillo (1916–2004). Delgadillo was working on an extremely limited budget, so he built the restaurant mostly from scrap lumber obtained from the nearby Santa Fe Railway yard.
