Chiricahua National Monument is a unit of the National Park System in the Chiricahua Mountains of south-eastern Arizona. It was established on 18 April 1924 to protect the extensive hoodoos and balancing rocks standing across the site. Just over 85 per cent of the monument is protected as the Chiricahua National Monument Wilderness. The monument also preserves Faraway Ranch, owned at one time by the Swedish immigrants Neil and Emma Erickson. It recorded 71,390 recreation visits in 2024.
