Faraway Ranch is a historic homestead within Chiricahua National Monument, Cochise County, Arizona, that was home to Swedish immigrants Emma and Neil Erickson. Emma Peterson bought a two-room cabin on the site in December 1886, and after marrying Neil Erickson in January 1887 the couple settled the 160-acre homestead. In 1898 they expanded the cabin into a two-storey, board-and-batten frame house. In 1903 Neil Erickson became the first ranger of the Chiricahua Forest Reserve.
