Goodyear Ballpark is a baseball stadium in Goodyear, Arizona, a western suburb of Phoenix, and the main field of a complex owned by the city that also holds several practice fields and team offices. It opened on 21 February 2009 and staged its first Cactus League game four days later. The stadium seats 9,500 in a single tier, with grass berms in left and right field and shaded seating along the third base line. Outside the main entrance stands The Ziz, a fibreglass sculpture 60 feet 6 inches high by the artist Donald Lipski. The ballpark is the spring training home of the Cleveland Guardians and the Cincinnati Reds, replacing Chain of Lakes Park in Winter Haven, Florida, and Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota respectively. It also hosts community events, among them the city's Star Spangled 4th and Fall Festival.
