Superstition Mountain is a mountain and regional landmark in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Arizona, immediately east of Apache Junction and north of Gold Canyon. It anchors the western end of the Superstition Mountains, within the federally designated Superstition Wilderness Area, and carries numerous trails for hiking and horse riding. The legend of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine centres on the mountain. Its Yavapai and O'odham names are Wi:kchsawa and Gakoḍk.
